Transtainer? (Rubber-Tired Gantry crane)
Eco-friendly crane contributes to the Green Ports.
It was in 1968 that MITSUI E&S designed, manufactured and delivered the first Rubber-Tired Gantry crane in Japan to Maya berth, Kobe Port.
Since then, over 1,600 units of Transtainer? have been delivered to all over the world. Transtainer? is a brand name for Rubber-Tired Gantry crane of our subsidiary PACECO CORP. which we are in technical cooperation. We have abundant experiences in manufacturing Eco-friendly Hybrid Transtainer? of low emission and also no-emission Electirfied Transitaner?. Advanced technology such as auto steering system and semi-automation will help the operators to handle containers as an optional function.
Main Features
- Hybrid Transtainer? realizes about 50% higher fuel efficiency compared to conventional type.
- The Near-Zero-Emission Transtainer?, which went on sale in 2021, has improved fuel efficiency by approximately 20% compared to the hybrid transtainer. It can be easily retrofitted to a hydrogen-powered, Zero-Emission Transtainer.
- Electrification by the sytem of Bus-bar and Cable Reel is are available.
- A variety of options can be selected including safety features such as Anti-collision systems.
- We are developing remote/automated operation.
